You Jump Forward

The fault

Landing a step in front of where you started.

Why it happens

Jumping forward is usually blamed on the feet. It is normally a lat problem: without back tension the bar gets in front, and the body follows it forward to stay under the load.

The fix

A drill that puts tension exactly where it is missing, in the lats. Fix the tension and the feet stop needing to chase the bar.
